the union education complex in grant county, west virginia open two hours late. i looked at this picture so many times, i decided i was going to put it on tv. i was at the tidal basin yesterday. i had to take the son to the hall cost museum and then we were at the ice center in dale city. i'm thinking seven, eight weeks from now the hoards of people will be flocking down there to see the gorgeous blossoms of the cherry trees. you folks in prince william county, if you haven't been to that ice center in woodbridge, they rebuilt it after the winter of 2009-2010 because it collapsed. a beautiful facility. congratulations to them. it's great. some sun this morning. more clouds this afternoon. temps in the mid to the upper 30s. by the way, if you're wondering about all that, it's about 400 miles of driving this weekend. temps mid- to upper 30s. potentially 40s down south with late day flurries are snow showers later. we're clear now. out here, actually toward chicago, just coming in toward indiana and western ohio, we've got the next disturbance headed our way. winds
